Oceanic Esports have carried out an internal investigation regarding a breach of official tournament rules under rule “3.4 Account Sharing” by team Your Soul Is Mine (YSIM).

Our internal investigation resulted in sufficient evidence to confirm that YSIM was in breach of rule 3.4 on numerous occasions throughout the group stage of Oceanic Esports Dota League Season 3.

As a result of our investigation we have decided to remove Your Soul Is Mine from OEDL S3 effectively immediately.

Oceanic Esports Dota League will impose the following punishments on these players.

Masiwei: Permanent removal from the league and lost of any money earned for OEDL Season 3

Hahaguo: Permanent removal from the league and lost of any money earned for OEDL Season 3

Chestnut: Permanent removal from the league and lost of any money earned for OEDL Season 3

F18: Has been given a heavy financial penalty of total winnings for OEDL Season 3 and a suspension from OEDL Season 4

Jiren: Has been given a heavy financial penalty of total winnings for OEDL Season 3.

Players which have stood in for the team have all been given heavy financial penalties for the involvement. In more severe cases, a ban has been placed on players for Season 4.

All players involved have shown remorse for the situation but Oceanic Esports are extremely disappointed in the actions of these players. Moving forward Oceanic Esports have made a commitment to ensuring that future seasons competitive integrity is not tarnished. We have already proposed a solution to OEDL captains & organisations to ensure our competitions remain fair to all involved.
