Oceanic Esports League, in partnership with Qui Hia Sports, is proud to launch the QH Sports Dota Series 1, an inaugural invitational Dota 2 tournament featuring the best teams from China and Southeast Asia.

Following the success of the previously held tournaments, such as the BIX Invitationals Summer and the Oceanic Esports Dota 2 League, the Australia-based tournament organizer is set to host a Dota 2 competition once more which will be held from August 9 until August 22.

10 teams from the aforementioned regions will grace the first of the four-tournament series by QH Sports. It will kick off in a single round-robin group stage followed by the double-elimination playoffs, where the top eight teams will vie for the lion’s share of the USD $15,000 prize pool.

The prize pool breakdown is as follows:

1st place: $7,000
2nd place: $3,000
3rd place: $1,500
4th place: $1,000
5th-8th place: $750 each
7th-8th place: $500 each

The final list of participants, as well as further information about the QH Sports Dota series 1, will be announced at a later date on Oceanic Esports’ official channels (Facebook, Twitter, website).
